25th Chinna Shodha Yatra

'Kothakota to Kommangi Dist Visakhapatnam, Andhra pradesh '

December 15-17, 2017

IMPRESSIONS / Venkateswar Reddy

It was my first Chinna Shodha Yatra, when I come to know about it through my sister-in-law(Mr.Sudharshan-G), I made up my mind to take part in this yatra with the purpose to 1) embrace the villages with different& better prospect vs what I am doing& experiencing now, 2) to have deeper connect with the nature to rejuvenate me and 3) with selfish interest of learning new things which I can implement in my village
All it started on 14th evening by getting into the Godhavari Exp in Secunderabad, along with me& Vasu(in B10) one more yatri travelling in the same train is Mr.Anjayha garu(in B2), by the time we settled into our berths and thinking to meet other co-yatri now or in next station or in the morning in TUNI, Mr.Anjayha reached our compartment to meet us that’s the first positive behavioral impression created by old yatri associated with Palle srujana and that is the first time I heard about the great inspiring person(Briga.P. Ganesham Sir) behind this amazing initiative, with high enthusiasm started yatra 1st day by getting up at 3 am and 8+ KMs walk during our waiting time in Tuni and experienced following few long term heartfelt impressions experienced in the next 3 days of Yatra
After knowing each other’s context-setting speech by Briga.Ganesham sir was the guiding road map for us on how to embrace the china shodha yatra, without that our meaningful experiences in yatra would have been very minimal, particularly making us aware about four gurus of yatra(1.Villagers, 2.Nature, 3.Co-Yatriis, and 4.Ourself) and how we can learn best from this four gurus was the best self-awareness we had which helped me to open the doors to great learnings
Impressions from the first guru Villagers:
•    Many occasions they exemplified unconditioned love by giving or sharing (even though they have minimal and they need them more than us) – this behavior of villagers created the strong impression that to give or share you no need to have plenty, it only requires the pure heart with unconditioned love.
•    In our discussions with villagers they shared different challenges they facing but surprisingly every one’s response is that they are happy with what they doing& have with minimal resources the having- this behavior of villagers given me the impression that happiness is the state of mind, it cannot be achieved with materialistic accomplishments what we running behind them throughout our life.
•    After Briga.Ganesham sir 30min mesmerizing interaction with school children on innovations, asked them to write what they want to innovate for the problems they seeing or facing, the response from children in short period of 15min was amazing, particularly the clarity of the thoughts they having and their handwriting was superb- this changed my mind on assumptions I have those village children are deprived with right education but this incident made me realize that they are the one having the real-life education.
•    Understood the art of preparing Red Bricks& Jagrry from villagers.
Impressions from the second guru Nature:
In simple words, it was amazing experience, once started connecting with the nature, to note few incidences
•    The 15-20min time we spent in water during our second-day launch made me forget the strain I had in the first 1 and half day
•    Silent walk in the night in the deep forest was an awesome experience of connecting with nature, special thanks to Briga.Ganesham sir for making us experience the same
Impressions from the third guru Co-Yatriis:
This was very special guru manifested and presented in 43 different forms, this one guru I keenly chased to learn in 3-days and this is the one guru made all the difference in 3days
My deepest gratitude to Brig.Ganesham sir for giving right awareness on many facets of the life, which I can take long way in my life, special impressions I will carry with me are
•    His thoughts on how we can achieve sustainable agriculture and attracting youngsters into agriculture
•    His thoughts on how can we strengthen the economy in villages
•    His guidance on how to look into the things with holistic approach, with-out attaching money to it.
My special thanks to Anji Reddy Garu for the valuable knowledge he shared with us on the different plants and on natural agriculture, special mention to Raj, Krati garu and Raju for helping all of us to have smooth yatra and thanks to all other co-yatriis for the learning I had from all of you.
Impressions from the fourth guru Self:
With all the above awareness had in yatra, I learned to live with commitment to strive persistently to innovate something which can provide more& more positive impact in many people’s life, the fourth guru also guided me to live the life in present without over thinking on future and prepared me to embrace the life ahead with villagers.
