Connected with Honey Bee Network and National Innovative Foundation

Good Evening Sir,

I heart fully thanks to Director IICT Dr. S. Chandrasekhar sir and Dr. S. Sridhar sir Membrane Separation lab, Chemical Engineering Division, for sending me and Raju along with Y.V.L. Ravi Kumar sir to 19th Chinna Sodha Yatra conducted by Palle Srujana, connected with honeybee network and national innovative foundation.

It was great pleasure to be the part of Palle Srujana Yatra for the year 2016 in my life as a memorable moment. I had a great experience about the villages were I learned about the tradition, culture and environment which we covered 54 Kms in 3 days including 15 villages on foot starting from VN Palli to Gangireddi Palli in Kadapa district were we end.

I am very happy to say that it is very awesome yatra to kadapa villages in and around where we went and meet all village people there. I have seen the way of traditional living and their culture by villagers, Old aged persons, local material construction for their houses, cultivation of land in their own way to get high yield etc.

I have observed in government schools that there is no proper facilities like water, benches, washrooms etc which making the village people to make their children to study at private schools even though they are far away from their village, daily going 10 kms far to schools. Bus facility is very poor, the students to go for schools or colleges, they have to board up a single bus which will come in certain timings.

I have met old people, the age of around 96 and above they were explaining how strong they are till today, their strength to live long is jaggery payasam which made by themselves, it is so sweet to have a sweet taste of jiggery payasam along with them. I also seen the painting on walls which are eco-friendly to environment drawn by village person, Ganesham sir and Ravi sir has garlanded with a shawl to the old aged energetic people and art of paint etc by learning tips from them for their healthy strong life.

I think this is the way villages have simple, healthy, happy and peaceful lifestyle when I compared to cities. I also think that the pollution and what we eat in cities spoil the health and happiness by ourselves etc.

I have learned many things from Vijay Kumar sir speech/lecture on organic farming and how he is helping to farmers to get high yield through preventing measures from insecticides etc. ‘Adavicherllapalli’ were we stayed overnight for first day was very thrilling experience in my life and no man in the village drinks or smokes and the entire village is trying to cultivate in organic farming. At the end of each day I have shared my experience with all yatries what I have seen and learned from the villagers etc.

I have great experience with all yatries by the interaction and the knowledge we shared each other throughout the yatra. I am very bad to say that there is no proper facility from government like transport (buses), banks, power supply, water for drinking, schools, markets for their daily use etc.

Once again I really thanks to Director IICT and Dr. S. Sridhar sir for giving me this great opportunity to participate in 19th Chinna Sodha Yatra and have very good experience to know the knowledge of the village tradition, agricultural environment, inter communication etc.

Here we can see the images of aged people, art of paint and traditional culture were garlanded with shawl by Ganesham sir and Ravi sir.
